The PhD program in Management Sciences is designed to prepare students for quality learning in the field of Management Science. A sound theoretical basis is provided in the general area of Management Sciences and in one of the following areas that are being offered to the students namely Human Resource Management, Marketing and Finance. The offered areas are based on strong research skills in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The program is designed to challenge the students in various ways to contribute to the knowledge and Practice of Management.
They also have an opportunity to apply theoretical foundation in a real-world setting.
The minimum credit hours to complete this program are 30 hours, while the maximum are 32 hours.
The minimum Duration to complete this program are 3 years, while the maximum are 5 years.
The program prepares students for a career in Academia and the Corporate World by understanding the current knowledge base in Management Sciences and applies practically by developing skillset to further extend this knowledge. The program is broad in perspective and maintains a balance between scholarly excellence and practical relevance. The program is oriented towards strengthening the students background in their respective area and designed as to deepen their understanding pertain to the program. Particular emphasis is placed on developing research potential, fostering and encouraging original research and professional in the field of Management Sciences.
