The PhD program in Management Sciences is designed to prepare students for quality learning in the field of Management Science. A sound theoretical basis is provided in the general area of Management Sciences and in one of the following areas that are being offered to the students namely Human Resource Management, Marketing and Finance. The offered areas are based on strong research skills in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The program is designed to challenge the students in various ways to contribute to the knowledge and Practice of Management.

They also have an opportunity to apply theoretical foundation in a real-world setting.

The minimum Duration to complete this program are 3 years, while the maximum are 5 years.

  • Eligibility Criteria For PhD Management Sciences is Minimum GPA Requirement: For admission in PhD programs, a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the semester system) or First Division (in the annual system) in the most recent degree obtained is required, whether such was degree obtained from Pakistani or foreign universities. Eligibility Requirement: All applicants to PhD programs shall be required to take one of the following non subject Specific admissions test: The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test administered by the Education Testing Service. A graduate admission test administered by the Education Testing Council. An equivalent test developed by the University for Admissions to graduate programs. As part of the application for admission to PhD programs, applicants shall be required to submit a statement of purpose, which shall form an integral part of the application. The admissions committee shall use the information provided to ascertain the preparedness and interest of the candidate in pursuing doctoral studies, and whether the department has the requisite resources to train and supervise the doctoral candidate in the subspecialty he or she is interested in. Selection Criteria Admission is based on a candidate’s performance in the following: Performance in International GMAT or an equivalent test as per HEC rule Interview and assessment by the Doctoral Admissions Committee (DAC)
