Mission

The Zoology Department of USKT has been established to awaken an awareness of the need to explore, understand and conserve animal diversity and to train the students in zoological sciences, to equip them to cope with the societal modern trends in animal sciences. Undergraduate level training aims to provide a wide- spectrum comprehension of the anatomy, physiology, systematics, ecology, behavior, and conservation of terrestrial and aquatic/marine animals. At the postgraduate level, our objectives are concerned with maintaining a high level of scientific excellence in zoological research.
