Is the University of Sialkot a private or Government institution?

USKT is a Punjab Government Chartered University.

Is USKT HEC recognized university?

Yes, USKT is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

When will admissions for the graduate programs open?

Admission are open for all graduate and post graduate programs. Last date to apply is 31st August.

What is the difference between "Undergraduate" and "Post Graduate" degrees?

Undergraduate programs follow high school/College and lead to an associate (two-year) degree or a BS (four-year) degree. Graduate programs follow a bachelor’s degree and lead to a master’s or doctoral degree.

Does USKT offer admissions for the spring semester?

Yes, we offer spring semester from February to May.

In what language will classes be taught?

All classes are taught mostly in English Medium.

Can I transfer my credit hours to USKT University?

Yes, for HEC recognized Universities and Institutes, USKT has policies for transfer of credit hours.

How can I apply for admission to USKT?

You can apply online at the official USKT website www.uskt.edu.pk or visit the admissions office with all your documents from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Once you have applied online, you must submit your documents in hard form at admissions office.

Which documents do I need to bring at time of admission?

Please bring the following attested documents for verification:
1. All academic documents
2. CNIC/B form
3. Guardian CNIC
4. Two Passport Photos

When and Where the MS Admissions Test will be conducted?

The MS Admissions Test will be conducted in the main campus Daska Road. Test date and time will be announced and shared soon.

How should I prepare for the admission test?

Either you need clear NTS GAT with 50% or University Departmental Test with 60% marks. The admission test is based 50% on your chosen subject and 50% on general knowledge.

How is the undergraduate merit calculated?

100% is from the Academic Record score.

How is the post graduate merit calculated?

50% is the Academic Record score, 40% is the USKT Admissions Test score and 10% is the interview score

What is a GPA?

Grade Point Average (GPA) is a numeric indicator for a student's academic performance, calculated on a scale of 4.0.

How many times are exams taken in one semester?

The major exams occur twice in one semester. Midterms occur after half a semester and Final exams occur at the end of the semester.

What are the fees for the undergraduate program?

will be answered accordingly as per approved Fee structure or Fee Structure Link will be copied.

What are the fees for the Post graduate program?

The tuition fee for the graduate program is Rs. 85,000 per semester + 25,000 Rs Admission/Registration fee (one time).

Can we refund admission/registration fees?

No, admission/registration fee is not refundable. However Tuition will be refunded as per USKT refund Policy.

Which scholarships does USKT offer?

USKT offers various scholarships like merit based, USKT Alumni, Need based, Orphan based, Kinship based, Disability Based and a special scholarship for Teaching Community of Sialkot.

Does USKT provide hostel facility?

Yes, USKT does provide hostel facilities.

Does USKT give any transport facility to the students?

Yes, USKT does provide transport facility to students.

Are there campus tours for visitors?

Yes, we have special arrangements for campus visits for students and their parents.

How can I apply for a job at USKT?

You can submit your resume with all documents in the HR office.

What are the timings for the undergraduate programs?

Classes for the undergraduate programs are held from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

What are the timings for the graduate program?

Classes for the graduate programs are held during weekends
Saturday from 3pm to 6pm.
Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm
