Asif Khan

dr.asifkhanuskt.edu.pk Dr. Asif Khan is an Assistant Professor of Law and the Director of the Faculty of Law at the University of Sialkot. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Zhengzhou University and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in international law at Hainan University, China. His academic research is primarily focused on public international law, with particular interest in the legal dimensions of artificial intelligence, international economic law, and digital trade. In his administrative capacity, he has successfully overseen accreditation processes and implemented outcome-based education systems, aligning the faculty’s academic framework with national and international standards. He has contributed to three legal research projects in China, reflecting active international academic collaboration. Alongside his academic commitments, he is a licensed Advocate of the High Court and has practiced before the Peshawar High Court. His academic contributions include supervising LL.M. students and serving as an external examiner for LL.M. and PhD dissertations across various universities. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Traditional Journal of Law and Social Sciences and holds editorial roles in several national and international journals, including Y, X, and W. With over ten years of professional legal experience and more than 57 research publications—several of which appear in internationally indexed journals—he remains dedicated to the advancement of legal education and scholarship.
