2nd Convocation & Alumni Reunion 2026 | University of Sialkot
The University of Sialkot (USKT) successfully organized its 2nd Convocation & Alumni Reunion 2026 on 10 October 2026, celebrating academic excellence, recognizing graduates’ achievements, and reaffirming its commitment to quality education, character building, and professional development.
The prestigious ceremony was graced by Honorable Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor of Punjab and Chancellor, University of Sialkot, as the Chief Guest, alongside Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Provincial Minister for Labor and Human Resources Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt as distinguished guests.
The ceremony was led by Mr. Faisal Manzoor, Chairman, Board of Governors, USKT; Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot; and Ms. Sadia Ashraf, Controller of Examinations, USKT.
Among the distinguished attendees were Mian Imran Masood, Vice Chancellor, University of South Asia and representative of APSAP; Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin, former Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC); Mr. Khawar Hussain Sial, President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Chaudhry Faisal Ikram, Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), along with other eminent dignitaries, vice chancellors, academic leaders, government officials, representatives of HEC, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, business leaders, industrialists, civil society representatives, and members of the media.
During the ceremony, graduates from various academic disciplines were awarded their degrees, while outstanding students received gold medals and other distinctions in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements. Souvenirs and tokens of appreciation were also presented to distinguished guests.
Addressing the graduating students, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot, emphasized that the university’s mission extends beyond academic qualifications to the character building of students. He highlighted the importance of integrity, discipline, ethical values, respect, responsibility, and compassion in shaping individuals who can serve society and contribute to national development. He encouraged graduates to become not only successful professionals but also responsible citizens and principled leaders.
The distinguished guests also emphasized the importance of education, innovation, hard work, and professional responsibility, encouraging graduates to apply their knowledge and skills for Pakistan’s social and economic progress.
The ceremony acknowledged the invaluable contributions of parents and teachers in students’ educational journeys. Students and their parents were served a special dinner, providing an opportunity to celebrate this memorable milestone together and recognize the families whose support played an essential role in the graduates’ success.
The event brought together academia, government, industry, business, and civil society, strengthening institutional relationships and celebrating the achievements of the university’s graduating class and alumni community.
