Department of English Celebrates English Fiesta 2026
The Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sialkot, in collaboration with the Event Management Society, Media Watch Society, and Dramatic Society, organized English Fiesta 2026 vibrant celebration of literature, linguistics, creativity, and talent.
The event featured captivating theatrical performances, inspiring poetry recitations, and musical presentations that brought literature and language to life. Students, faculty members, and alumni of the Department of English came together to make the occasion memorable and meaningful.
The event was graced by Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-Ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot, who appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Navid Jamil Malik, Dean Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Akhtar Abbas, Head Department of English, and the dedicated core team including Ms. Umm-e-Laila Naqvi, Mr. Amjad Ali, Mr. Ali Furqan Syed, Ms. Umm-e-Laila Sherazi, and Mr. Agha Mohib Ali Haider. He highlighted the importance of such activities in developing students’ confidence, creativity, and professional skills.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among performers, alumni, batch advisors, and organizing team members in recognition of their valuable contributions.
