Seminar on “National Integration: Challenges & Prospects for Pakistan” at the University of Sialkot
The Department of Politics and International Relations at University of Sialkot organized a seminar titled “National Integration: Challenges & Prospects for Pakistan” under the supervision of Dr. Ammara Tabassum, (Head-Department of Politics and International Relations)
The guest speaker, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq (Head, Department of Political Science and International Relations, University of Gujrat), highlighted the complexities of Pakistan as a multi-ethnic state and discussed different models adopted for national integration. Prof. Dr. Navid Jamil Malik, (Dean Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) emphasized that national integration begins from individuals and families and grows into a broader societal process.
Addressing the participants, the Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq Ur Rahman discussed the importance of knowledge, science, innovation, and technology for Pakistan’s socio-economic development. He also appreciated the guest speaker, faculty members, and students for their active participation in the seminar.
